ME / Mathematic Technician

Candidate will use mathematical modeling and computational methods to formulate and solve engineering problems, compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for chemical containment products, and depict functional relationships of components using computer-assisted drafting and 3-D modeling.  Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to accurately model products and processes to determine structural integrity, thermal stress, fatigue performance and reliability, as well as predict structural failures.  Using CFD numerical simulation software conduct airflow modeling analysis to simulate externally induced turbulence influences on airflow patterns and anticipate the potential entrainment of contaminants and determine the effectiveness of applied design solutions. Evaluate materials, welded structures, weld design and conduct stress analysis.  Must have knowledge of raw materials, production processes and experience in sheet metal fabrication.  Be well versed in chemical compositions, processes, interactions and transformations. Flow Sciences is an EOE located in Leland in Brunswick County.
